What happens when light shine upon darkness?

Well, let me tell you, when that happens…

It is like an unexpected and unprecedent event that takes place and leaves everything out of place

It is like an unpredictable force of nature that was not in due course

That suddenly starts to evolve and when hits its higher form of manifestation culminates in unleashing its power over the rest of the creation

It is like an impetuous noise that breaks the sequence of sounds with its opaque silence

It is a like a brusque break of notes in a melody that breaks the natural course of a song

It is like a sequence of unrelated circumstances that makes you look at the one specific direction

It is like a life that is born that brings abundance and reason and meaning to the rest of all other lives, making it impossible to live again without it

How can any of that make sense if not through a superior will that allows all that to happen?

God decided to take flesh of our flesh and broke the barriers between possibility and reality

In his incarnation all that made sense before, started to fade away and creation gained a new and fresh start

The real light came into the world and made all other lights seem to be dark

The birth that changed the course of the history of the entire world, prior to him, during his lifetime and afterwards

He was born to be dead, like all of us in a sense, but different in dignity since that was his intent, his desire, his all-powerful will

Christ came to Earth to make things make sense again, because away from him nothing really had any meaning

Everything that exists was created for him, and without him nothing was made

John said he was the light that came into the world and he was the life of men, but men did not recognize him

He changed and divided history into two parts – one before and other after him

Though he is God, he took the form of a man, and humiliated himself since his birth

The king of kings did not have a place to be born in, so he was let go to be born in a manger

In the middle of animals, in poverty, in humbleness, in a lone place, in darkness, hidden from glory and power

But the angels sang the hymn that was heard in the entire planet

The wise kings followed the stars and adored him when he was found in a place they did not expect

They brought him presents to help the world recognize that the he was the most important being since he was God, he was son of God, he was one with the Father and the Holy Spirit

The trinity, three faces of one God, revealed himself and allowed us to find him where none of us would ever seek

The baby God, the Emmanuel, the God that never abandoned us cuts history with his victorious entrance and keeps doing so

History was never the same after he was incarnate in the womb of the Virgin of Nazareth

He, who is the light of the world, shone in plenitude over darkness, amongst chaos and nothingness of creation

And everyone can see the son of God, the same God that created everything

He was created to be consubstantial to the divine nature and at the same time 100% God and 100% man

The mystery we will maybe only understand after our death

May the noise of the silence of his birth break away our deafness

And the richness of light of his glory defeat our blindness

So when we finally close our eyes to this rotten earth of sins and open our eyes up to eternity

We may be able to see as he sees all things and live with him forever and ever - again
