Led Adoration

Holy Hours before the Blessed Sacrament that I led with the Legion of Mary at Frank Duff House, in Belfast. They are not talks to watch — they are hours to pray along with: in front of a screen if that is where you are, and best of all in front of a tabernacle.

An hour with Him

What a led Holy Hour is

Our Lord is exposed in the monstrance, and for an hour we simply stay with Him. In a led hour, one person speaks so that everyone else can be silent: a reading, a prayer said aloud, a song, a thought to hold in front of Him — and long stretches of quiet in between, so that the hour does not drift away into distractions.

These are the hours I was asked to lead. I share them so that you can keep the same hour wherever you are.

What? Could you not watch one hour with me?Matthew 26:40

October 2026A Holy Hour of Led Adoration · Frank Duff House, Belfast

The October hour, in the month of the Holy Rosary — Our Lord exposed in the monstrance at Frank Duff House, with Our Lady standing at the side of the altar, as she stood at the side of the Cross.

Frank Duff House is the Legion of Mary's house in Belfast, named after the Dublin layman who founded the Legion in 1921. The invitation that opens the video is the legionaries' own: “Watch, pray and allow the Lord to transform your heart.”

The week of the Holy Cross

September 2026A Holy Hour of Led Adoration · Frank Duff House, Belfast

Friday the 11th of September, three days before the Exaltation of the Holy Cross — an hour in front of the same Lord who was lifted up, now hidden in the Host.

That week the letter I send to my readers was about the Cross, and this was the hour of the one thing the letter was about: not doing, not explaining — staying where you can see everything.

The first

July 2026One Hour of Led Adoration · Frank Duff House, Belfast

The first of these hours. I was asked to lead the Holy Hour with the Legion of Mary — an hour simply to spend quality time with Christ, and to let Him grant us grace and love through His Eucharistic presence.

It came in the month of the Precious Blood. All that we say of the Blood that washes us is not only remembered in the confessional: it is truly present, Body and Blood, in the Host we adore. Sit before Him for a while, and let yourself be looked at, and washed, by His gaze.
