Chapter by chapter it works through spiritual blindness, insensitivity, deafness, muteness and contamination, and ends where they are all answered: in the Healer Himself. Written over fifteen years of texts on the spiritual life, it is direct, unsentimental and meant to be prayed with as much as read.
