A data não é acidente. Este volume saiu em 7 de setembro por duas razões que, no fundo, são a mesma. É a véspera da Natividade de Nossa Senhora — e este é um livro sobre os sentidos da alma que adormecem, sendo ela a única criatura em quem nenhum deles jamais adormeceu. E é o dia em que a Legião de Maria completa 105 anos: foi fundada em Dublin a 7 de setembro de 1921, também na véspera do aniversário dela. O prefácio deste volume é de um legionário. The date is not an accident. This volume was published on 7 September for two reasons that are really one. It is the eve of the Nativity of Our Lady — and this is a book about the senses of the soul going dull, hers being the one soul in which none of them ever did. And it is the day the Legion of Mary turns 105: it was founded in Dublin on 7 September 1921, on that same eve. The foreword to this volume is written by a legionary.
